      York Angling Promotions

      We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

      League Overview

      This is where you will be able to find all the results from the 2020 York Tackle YAP Super Series Charity Open Matches. The series consists of eight matches. There will be one match per month from March to October where each angler that competes in the matches will receive ranking points which will go towards helping us find our YAP York Tackle 2020 Super Series Champion. The amount of anglers that can fish at each match will depend on the number of pegs available at each venue. The entry fee at each match is £15. This includes the venues fishing fee. At each match there will be an optional £5 match sweep for those who wish to enter that. You do not have to fish all the matches to be in with a chance of winning the overall series. The points system will be awarded as follows: Match Winner 20pts, Second 16pts, Third 14pts, Fourth 12pts, Fifth 10pts, Sixth 8pts and all other anglers entered the match 6pts each. Once all eight matches have been completed it will be each anglers five best sets of points that count.
