      York Angling Promotions

      We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

      League Overview

      These event is run over the weekend of 15th/16th August 2020 at Lindholme Lakes and is part of the York Angling Promotions 2020 charity fundraising and is organised to help raise funds for St. Leonard's Hospice. Three Open Matches in Two Days Entry Fee £50 Covering All Three Matches and Peg Fee's Plus Optional £5 sweep Per Match. This event is limited to 30 anglers. £20 Deposit secures your place. You can pay the full amount if you wish or the balance to be paid on Saturday 15th August 2020. You can pay by searching for neilhartydp@hotmail.co.uk through Paypal. Please pay using friends and family or you can contact me and pay by bank transfer. Event details Saturday 15th August 2020 Match One Fished on Bonsai. Match One “Rod Only Match” Peg draw live on Facebook at 7pm on Friday 14th August 2020 Match Fished 10am to 1pm Match Two “The Three Fish Weigh In” Fishing the same peg as you draw for Match Two. Match Fished 1.45pm to 4.45pm Sunday 16th August 2020 (Matches Two & Three) Fished on Willows “The YAP Big Fish Off Charity Match” Peg Draw Live on Facebook at 7pm on Saturday 15th August 2020. Match Fished 10am to 4pm Points Awarded for Each Match. Angler with the most points becomes The 2020 Big Fish Off Charity Champion In the event there is a points tie for any of the prize money placings the prize money due for those placings will be split between the anglers concerned. All prize money will be paid via PayPal or Bank Transfer on Monday 17th August 2020.
