      We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

      A commercial water coarse fishing match for competing individuals

      6hrs duration, with draw time at 08:00

      Description

      This is Match Eight of the 2021 York Tackle YAP Super Series Charity Club Match. Only YAP 2021 Members can fish the Super Series matches. Due to Coronavirus restrictions the Peg Draw will take place live on Facebook the night before the match date and we will be running our matches using the following rules: All entry fees, £25 for this match all in, must be paid prior to the match date and can be paid using either PayPal (friends and family) or Bank Transfer. On match day anglers can go straight to their pegs from 8am with the match being fished 10am to 4pm. Once you have had your fish weighed in please please pack up your equipment and DO NOT FOLLOW THE WEIGH IN. All prize money will be paid out in the method the angler has paid their entry fee, either by PayPal (friends and family) or Bank Transfer. PLEASE NOTE: The YAP Golden Peg is on offer at this match and can only be won by a 2021 YAP Member. The points system will be awarded as follows: Match Winner 1 point, Second 2pts, Third 3pts, Fourth 4pts and so on up to a maximum of 24 points for 24th place. Any angler who does not fish the match, leave early or not weigh in will receive the maximum 24 points. Once all eight matches have been completed it will be each anglers five best sets of points that count towards their overall points total for the Order of Merit. It is the lowest overall points total that wins the Order of Merit. In the event their are more than one angler on equal points the placings will be decided by the anglers total fishing weight caught.

        During the Summer season we had an amazing engagement from 7,468 unique anglers involved. We gave away over £10,000 in prizes and hosted a dedicated YouTube show, The Weigh-In , that followed the results of the anglers and matches in the tournament.
