We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

A commercial water coarse fishing match for competing individuals

6hrs duration, with draw time at 08:00

Description

This is the 2021 YAP ROD ONLY Charity Open Match. The rules are very simple. You can only use a rod. You can use feeder, bomb or float. The peg draw will take place live on Facebook on Saturday 17th July 2021 at 6pm approx. Anglers are allowed to go directly to their pegs from 8am with the match being fished 10am to 4pm. We are .fishing the Island Lake (pegs allocated 38 to 65). Entry Fee is £25 all in. YAP 2021 Members get preference on entry with the remaining spaces becoming open to other angler. PLEASE NOTE: The YAP Golden Peg is on offer at this match and can only be won by a 2021 YAP Member. We can increase the number of pegs subject to availability.
