York Angling Promotions

We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

A commercial water coarse fishing match for competing pairs

6hrs duration, with draw time at 09:00

Description

This match is open to any angler who has previously participated in a YAP Fishing Match or will have fished a YAP match prior to the 17th June 2020. The match is limited to 24 anglers (12 Pairs). You need to enter as a pair and pay the entry fee of £40 (£20 Per Angler). PLEASE NOTE: No entry fee will be taken without entry fee The match will be fished on the Furlong Lake and is limited to 24 anglers (12 pairs). One of the pair will fish in the lower pegged area with the second member of the pair fishing in the higher section. To pay your entry please go to PayPal, search neilhartydp@hotmail.co.uk and pay the £40 entry fee (£20 per angler). Please only pay your entry fee using PayPal Friends and Family. Please let me know once you have paid your pairs entry and i will confirm receipt and add you to the list. If there are any spaces left by Sunday 31st May 2020 the spare places will be opened to any angler's who must enter as a pair and pay their entry fee. Match Date: Wednesday 17th June 2020. Match Venue: Forest Lane Fisheries Forest Lane, Alne York YO61 1TT Lake Fishing: Furlong Lake. Maximum Entries: 24 anglers (12 Pairs). Peg Draw; 09.00am (09.00hrs). Match Fished: 10.30am to 4.30pm (10.30hrs to 16.30hrs). I purchased the voucher at the Gala Night and will be add the profit from the event to the YDP & YAP 2020 Fundraising in aid of St Leonard's Hospice.

During the Summer season we had an amazing engagement from 7,468 unique anglers involved. We gave away over £10,000 in prizes and hosted a dedicated YouTube show, The Weigh-In , that followed the results of the anglers and matches in the tournament.
