York Angling Promotions

We organise fishing matches and in the process raise funds for different charities. We host the York Tackle YAP SUPER SERIES, which consists of 8 matches across various venues, one a month from March to October, where the anglers top 5 results go towards their "Order of Merit" table position. We also host the "Big Fish Off" held at Lindholme Lakes during August of each year, the YAP Pairs, the Old Foggies match for those who are 50 years of age and over and the Individuals/Blind Pairs. All our matches are open events and based on a first come first serve basis.

Description

The YAP Individual/Blind Pairs is being organised to help raise funds for St Leonard's Hospice and is limited to 24 anglers fishing the Strip Lake at Lindholme Lakes. This means we will be fishing all the pegs on the lake but they are at least 8 meters apart. To find out more information on the Strip Lake go to https://www.lindholmelakes.co.uk/fishing/our-lakes/strip-lake/ Entries will be taken up to the Wednesday 26th August 2020 or until we receive 24 entries whichever is the sooner. Entry fee is £25 all in and is due to be paid by Wednesday 26th August 2020. If we are still following our Lockdown Match Rules the peg draw will take place on Friday 28th August 2020 live on Facebook. If match fishing is back to normal the peg draw will take place at 9am at the venue. Either way the match being fished 10.30am to 4.30pm.
